The maximum number of years a student can receive ETV funding is five (5) years, consecutive or intermittent. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible students. Please submit only one application per school year.

The Chafee Program provides help with education, employment financial management, housing, emotional support, and assured connections to caring adults for older youth in foster care.

Proof of foster care eligibility MUST be on a court affidavit or the Confirmation of Foster Care Experience form from the child welfare database. The document must contain the student's full name, DOB and foster care placement dates.
