注意事項:
- 每家報館最多只可提交四份參賽作品。如屬系列作品，每份作品不可多於五個版面，內容如不足一版亦當一版計，跨版當兩版計。
- 每份參賽作品須提交當天報紙正本全頁及六份打印在A4紙上的純文字稿，打印本上須註明字數及出版日期，但須刪去報章名稱及參賽者姓名，連同經總編輯簽署之報名表格參賽。不按上述規定之作品，概不列入評選。
- 每份參賽作品字數不能超過2000字 (包括標題及副題，但不包括標點符號)，不接受系列式及翻譯作品參賽。不能刪改原文以符合參賽的規定字數。如作品有需要通過翻譯引述外語報道，應注明出處，翻譯內容不應超過全篇作品五分之一。
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Each newspaper can submit no more than four entries. For entries published in a series, each entry must not have more than five pages. A page that is partially filled by the relevant report is regarded as one page. A double-spread is regarded as two pages.
- Each entry must include an original copy of the newspaper in which the article was published and six duplicates of the text-only version of the article printed on A4 paper. The duplicates should state the article’s total number of words and date of publication, but not the names of the newspaper and the entrant. Each entry form must be clearly marked and signed by the Editor-in-chief. Entries not complying with these requirements will not be judged.
- The total number of words, including title and subtitles, used in each article must not be more than 2000. The punctuation marks are not counted. Series and translations are not accepted. Entrants are not allowed to meet the requirements on word count by shortening the original text. Where there is a need to quote from reports in foreign languages, the translations cannot constitute more than one-fifth of an entry and their sources must be cited.
