An AusCycling (AC) Event Organiser Sanction permits the holder to conduct riding events under the auspices of AC. The issue of such a Sanction is subject to acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

1. To be eligible to be issued with an AC Event Organiser Sanction a person must be a member of AC, or in the case of an entity or company, at least one of the principals of that entity must be a member of AC.
2. All participants are to be current members of AC or approved UCI National Federation at the time of the event. Failure to adhere to this will result in the insurance certificate issued for the event being null and void. Based off the type of event/sanction, participants can be temporary or full members-this will be advised during the application process.
3. In conducting events under the sanction of a AC Event Organiser, the promoter undertakes to comply with all AC policies, procedures and technical regulations.
4. An Event Organiser must comply with the AC Anti-Doping Policy and the UCI Anti-Doping Examination Regulations. The Event Organiser must fully cooperate with AC, Sport Integrity Australia or other accredited authority in the application of these policies.
5. All racing conducted shall be conducted under the direction of an accredited Commissaire(s) appointed by AC.
6. All Event Organisers must be aware of and undertake to fulfil their responsibility for duty of care and risk management in the course of conducting riding events. Every effort must be made at all times to ensure the safety of competitors, officials and patrons.
7. Confirmation of an event being conducted and sanctioned by AC is subject to the submission of all requested documentation by AC. This may include, but is not limited to: a risk management plan and event management plan. A Certificate of Currency will only be issued for each respective event subject to compliance with this condition. The AC insurance underwriter reserves the right to reject acceptance of risk for an event.
8. AC reserves the right to refuse the issue of or cancel an Event Organiser Sanction in the case of failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
